Party booking terms
The short version: a £100 deposit holds your date, prices are as published, and we will always talk to you like neighbours if plans change. Last updated 13 June 2026.
1. The package
A children's party runs for 2 hours and includes exclusive use of Malibu's soft play area within your booked hours, a choice of food from the party menu (hot or cold), ice cream, a plate of fresh fruit, snacks, unlimited squash and water, a cake ceremony, and a free return visit for the party child.
2. Prices and numbers
Monday to Thursday parties are £170 and include 10 children; each extra child is £7. Friday to Sunday and holiday parties are £180 and include 10 children; each extra child is £8. The minimum charge covers 10 children even if fewer attend. Maximum capacity is 25 children. Prices may change for future bookings; the price confirmed with your deposit is the price you pay.
3. Deposit and payment
A £100 deposit secures your date and time. The deposit is non-refundable. It is taken off your final bill, and the balance (based on the final number of children) is payable on the day of the party.
4. Changes and cancellation
If you need to move your party, call us as early as you can on 0208 361 1013; we will rearrange to another available date where possible and your deposit moves with the booking. If you cancel, the deposit is not returned. If we ever have to cancel on you (for example an emergency closure), we will offer a new date or return the deposit in full.
5. Food and allergens
Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when booking and we will plan the party food around them. Parents and guardians are responsible for letting us know about their child's allergies in advance. You are welcome to bring a birthday cake; we handle the cake ceremony.
6. Soft play rules
The soft play area is designed for children aged 0 to 6. Socks must be worn in the play area, and no food or drinks are allowed inside it. Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or guardians throughout the party; our team runs the party but does not replace parental supervision.
7. Opening and weather
Cafe opening is weather dependent, but booked parties go ahead inside whatever the weather. If exceptional circumstances force us to close, section 4 applies.
8. The legal bits
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or any liability we cannot exclude by law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
